begin to see how a government impacts society and economy. Your task is
to research your country's government type and define it, to identify
your country's leader(s) and their titles, and to summarize the length
of time that person(s) is in power.Begin by using the CIA World Factbook (https://www.cia.gov/library/publications/the-world-factbook/geos/an.html) to look up your country. When you open your country, click on the government tab. READ the headings to locate desired information. 3 = A republic is very similar to a democracy. Today, both types of governments are commonly run by elected presidents and representatives. If a republic is run properly, I think the country would be less likely to have uprisings and such. Normally in republics, political affairs are shared with citizens and not the sole concerns of the leaders. People want to know what's happening in the government world, and if they aren't being given the information they want, that causes problems! In a republic, things like that can be avoided more easily.
