Welcome to Mrs. Aschbrenner’s & Mrs. Woerner’s 7th Grade Social Studies!


This year, our study will focus on the Eastern Hemisphere from ancient civilizations to the present.  We will be using Social Studies: The World as well as primary sources, activities, projects, videos, and readers’ theater to expand our understanding of history, geography, government, economics, and society.

    3.The elections are in December (No specific time) their capital is Algier and they are presidents or a prime minister for 8 years.

  4. The main religion in Mongolia is Buddhist lamaist which makes up 50% of Mongolia. Not alot of people follow the religion of christianity about 4% of people follow christianity.

  8. 1.) Muslim, Christian (mostly Roman Catholic), indigenous beliefs.
    2.) Muslims are 94% of their population and Christians are 5%.
    3.) Muslims believe in Muhammad (their god), and they read the Qur'an (their bible), Senegal also Believes that some of the Christian deciples are actually Muslims.

    2. The Muslim live by five pillars or ways of daily life. These pillars include shahadah,salat,zakah,sawn,and haji.

  12. In South Africa 74% of religion in Christianity and the rest is unspecified. During Holy communion , Christians share bread and wine, spirtual food symbolizing the body and blood in Christ. Light is an important symbol in christianity, light represents the sun god who brought light into the world. The birth of Jesus is the sun of God. The Bible is the Holy Book of Christians. The old testaments is the same as the Jewish Torah.The cross is the symbol of Christ's crucfixon, it is a reminder to christians that died for us so others can live. God game Moses the Ten Commendments to pass on to the Hebrew people.
